How can a goat help a family?

A goat can provide up to 1,000 litres of milk per year. That’s enough protein and nutrients to help families thrive. These hearty animals eat grass and leaves, and do well in harsh climates. Providing two goats to a family can bring meaningful change as goats can be bred to produce 2-3 kids or more per year and eventually multiply into a herd.

Providing Income, training and a future.

Gifts of livestock and agricultural products also support and provide training and education in animal husbandry, agricultural production, market access and other necessary business skills. These valuable tools help families increase their income over the long-term so that their children can have brighter futures.
